Introducing Our Four Business Units

Antenna Measurement Services

Eravant offers a range of standard antenna measurement services including gain, 2D, and 3D patterns. Frequency step size, operating bandwidth, and polarization settings can be specified by request.

LN2 Noise Source Calibration

Eravant waveguide noise sources are calibrated in-house using a cold reference termination that is cooled with liquid nitrogen. Eravant offers calibration services for waveguide banded noise sources up to 220 GHz and recommends repeating calibrations annually.

Near Field Range Testing

Eravant is one of the very few millimeter wave antenna manufacturing companies in the United States that can design, manufacture, and test large aperture microwave and millimeter wave antennas up to 110 GHz. In particular, Eravant has experience in production testing of large aperture Cassegain reflector antennas up to 2.4 m in diameter for Q/V-Band LEO/ GEO ground station applications.

Noise Figure Testing

Eravant offers precise and reliable noise figure testing services for amplifier components, employing the Y-factor method as the most common approach. This method uses a calibrated noise source that switches on and off to characterize the noise figure accurately.

Phase Noise Measurement Services

Eravant offers industry-leading phase noise testing services, utilizing real-time cross-correlation measurements for exceptional accuracy. Through a partnership with Holzworth, we have developed in-house test capabilities for precise phase noise measurement and actual noise floor measurement.

Power Measurement Services

Eravant offers precision power level measurement services spanning from DC to the sub-THz range, up to 500 GHz. Utilizing advanced diode detector power sensors, we cover a wide dynamic range (-70 to +20 dBm) with exceptional confidence and accuracy. For sub-THz measurements, our calorimetric power sensors also provide accurate and reliable results.

S-Parameter Measurement Services

Eravant provides comprehensive S-Parameter testing services for both coaxial and waveguide systems. For coaxial systems, we offer testing from 0.01 to 110 GHz in a single sweep, and for waveguide systems, we cover 18 to 325 GHz, offering full-band single-sweep testing across various frequency ranges.

Thermal Vacuum (TVAC) Component Testing

Eravant offers thermal vacuum test services with a recently acquired Ideal Vacuum ExploraVAC MAX Thermal Vacuum Test Chamber System. The chamber can simulate the extreme temperature ranges and vacuum conditions required for component testing for space qualification.

Space Heritage

Eravant has delivered more than 50,000 components and hardware for commercial, military, and space applications since its inception. The presentation shall review successful flight programs that incorporated Eravant hardware.

ACCESS STO Configuration Guide

The ACCESS line of VNA frequency extenders represents Eravant’s latest effort to make high-performance millimeter wave testing more attainable. Designed to deliver full-band coverage with a reduced footprint and lower price point, these models are part of our broader ACCESS portfolio—engineered to break cost and complexity barriers without compromising performance. The ACCESS extenders provide seamless integration into existing test setups while maintaining the reliability and precision Eravant is known for.

Contactless Waveguide Flange & mmW-Thz Test Setup Applications

Contactless Flange: which is a waveguide section with a novel flange design which forms RF choke when making connection to other waveguide flange to eliminate the requirements of perfect mechanical contact. Rail Setup: which is a rail structure to allow the millimeterwave VNA extenders to perform an easy alignment and connection of DUT and test equipment during the [S] parameter testing when Proxi-Flange™ is used.

Millimeter Wave VNA Extenders and Calibration Kits

Eravant offers high-performance and cost-effective VNA frequency extenders, drawing from an extensive range of broadband components and a history of subsystem design achievements. Eravant’s VNA Calibration Kits cover waveguide bands from 18 to 330 GHz.

One Millimeter (1 mm) Connectorized Components for Test & Instrumentation

What is 1 mm Connector? The 1 mm connector is a coax connector with coaxial line outer diameter 1.00 mm. The 1 mm connector supports the frequency range of DC to 110 GHz operation and can be stretched to cover DC to 130 GHz. There are many different types of connectors. For this presentation, only sparkplug and cable connectors are included.

STO Configuration Guide

Eravant’s VNA frequency extenders are used to increase the reach of coaxial Vector Network Analyzers to millimeter-wave and sub-THz frequencies. They are compatible with VNAs produced by major OEMs including Anritsu, Copper Mountain Technologies, Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz and others.

Uni-Guide™ Practical Waveguide Connector

The idea was from Eravant's own Product Development. There were too many product interface variations, product packages to manage, and excessive product development cycle time. It is used in the same way as the coaxial connector. It is field replaceable as long as glassbead is used and allows for various RF interfaces.

Waveguide Quick Connects

The idea was from Eravant’s own Testing Experience. Using waveguide screws to make the test set and DUT connections can cause scratches and marks on DUT surface. Two models are offered to cover operating frequency from 33 to 1 THz or beyond. We only need to use two thumb screws to make the waveguide connection easily reliable.

Dual Pol Antenna Applications for 5G

This presentation introduces Eravant's dual-pol antennas offering in broadband for 5G System Applications. Although the standard models are specified for full waveguide band operations, they can cover many Extended Millimeter Wave 5G Bands.

2 Watt Power Amplifiers for High Power System Integration

Eravant offers narrow and full band high power amplifiers for use in communications, instrumentation, radar, and high power system integration applications. The high power amplifier series covers the frequency range of 18 GHz to 110 GHz, and utilizes GaAs, GaN, and power combining technologies to achieve high power output.

Cassegrain Antennas for Satellite Communication

Eravant designs and manufactures standard and custom high performance cassegrain antennas for Q/V-Band satellite communication ground station applications. These antennas operate in the popular Q/V-band frequency spectrum with a downlink receiving (Rx) frequency range from 37.5 to 42.5 GHz and a uplink transmitting (Rx) frequency range from 47.2 to 52.4 GHz.

Compact Antenna Test Range

Eravant offers open bed CATR (Compact Antenna Test Range) and rolled edge reflectors for far-field OTA mmWave 5G and 6G antenna measurements. The systems and reflectors are available with Ø6” (150mm) and Ø12” (300mm) circular quiet zone sizes, and have been used to test antennas up to 330 GHz.

Direct Reading & Programmable Attenuators

Eravant has developed millimeterwave and Sub-THz “hybrid function” direct reading and programmable waveguide rotary vane attenuators for high level precision calibration, system power level control, and automated testing. The hybrid attenuator family covers a combined frequency range of 18 to 330 GHz in 13 distinct waveguide bands.

Filters for 5G & 6G Communications

Eravant offers a wide range of millimeterwave and sub-THz waveguide filters which covers many popular and emerging 5G and 6G telecommunication frequency bands, up to 330 GHz. All of Eravant’s filters are precision machined with tight tolerances and offer low insertion loss, high rejection, and for select models, steep rejection skirts.

Hermetic Coaxial Adapters

Eravant offers a series of hermetically sealed bulkhead type coaxial adapters for use as RF feedthroughs to enable testing of components in thermal vacuum chambers and cryogenic chambers where airtight vacuum seals are required.

High Power Amplifiers for Military & Defense

Engineered for mission-critical Ka-band platforms, Eravant power amplifier M/N: SBP-3233734045-KF28- E1-R delivers a 30 W output power with 40 dB power gain in CW mode. The amplifier is capable of operating in a pulsed mode, and covers 32 to 37 GHz frequency range. Housed in a 3⁄4 Short ATR chassis per ARINC 404, the module ships with a shock-isolated tray and front hooks for effortless integration into the vehicle.

High Power Rotary Joints

Eravant has developed a family of millimeterwave and Sub-THz rotary joints to support high-power system applications in the frequency range of 50 to 170 GHz. The rotary joint family consists of four mechanical configurations, “I’, “U”, “L” and “Reversed L” to provide convenience for system integrations and implementations.

Mini Faraday Isolators

Eravant offers miniature waveguide Faraday isolators for integration in subassemblies and test setups where space is limited. The mini isolator series covers a combined frequency range from 50 to 330 GHz. The design uses a saturated magnetic field configuration to achieve lower insertion loss and maintain high isolation while allowing for a much more compact package size compared to the traditional isolators.

mmWave & Sub-THz Radiometers

Standard full waveguide bandwidth W-Band and D-Band full power radiometric receivers are offered under the model numbers SSR-9333534040-10-M4 and SSR- 1446034540-06-M4 . They are direct detection based radiometric receivers that can be used to measure the average power of the noise coming from a physical object in frequency ranges of 75 to 110 GHz and 110 to 170 GHz.

Uni-Guide™ Expanded Frequency to 110 GHz

Eravant has expanded the Uni-Guide™ product line to higher frequencies up to 110 GHz with the addition of WR-15, WR-12, and WR-10 models SUF-1509-280-S1, SUF-1209-280-S1, and SUF-1009-280-S1, respectively. The new Uni-Guide™ waveguide connectors are compatible with 0.009" pin diameter glass-bead feed-thrus.

Uni-Guide™ Patented Waveguide Connector

Branded as Uni-Guide™ waveguide connectors, the newly patented devices are compatible with existing coaxial interfaces. They greatly reduce the effort and cost of providing waveguide signal ports on hermetically sealed components. By using Uni-Guide™ waveguide connectors, component manufacturers can offer a wide range of waveguide sizes and orientations using a reduced number of package designs.

Waveguide to Coax Adapters

Eravant offers a series of full-band and broadband millimeterwave and sub-THz waveguide to coax adapters up to 173 GHz. Eravant’s waveguide to coax adapters are optimized to offer an efficient transition between the rectangular waveguide and the coaxial connector with low insertion loss and high return loss.
