Compliance
Eravant is committed to a counterfeit prevention plan that is modeled after the requirements of AS9100 in section 8.1.4 titled "Prevention of Counterfeit Parts." The section states "The organization shall plan, implement, and control processes, appropriate to the organization and the product, for the prevention of counterfeit or suspect counterfeit part use and their inclusion in product(s) delivered to the customer."
Control Method
Our approach ensures that products are only purchased from Original Component Manufacturer (OCM), Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), or Authorized/Franchised Distributors which is defined as "Those distributors with which OCM/OEM have contractual agreements identifying them as 'Authorized' or in a like manner to buy, stock, repackage, sell, and distribute their product lines." The method also allows inventory inspection upon item receipt and has built in controls to prevent usage and inclusion in our products. We also require our suppliers to implement and enforce their own Counterfeit Parts Prevention and Control Plan.
